Shirley Branca Park

Shirley Branca Park

MIRAMAR, FLORIDA

The City of Miramar retained CPZ Architects to design and develop construction documents for the renovation of Shirley Branca Park. The project included designing a 928-square foot restroom building, a 2100-square foot band shell, and a splash pad. The band shell and splash pad were accommodated within the existing park contours, and paths and dense vegetation provided tiered lawn seating for the audiences. A mid-century and Mediterranean design is consistent with Miramar’s existing facilities and the south Florida aesthetic. The park renovation and new additions contribute to the community’s music and performing arts, while providing a new outdoor venue.
