Police Horse Barn

Police Horse Barn

Fort Lauderdale, Florida

The most sustainable architecture is often the design that stands the test of time. We designed the Fort Lauderdale police horse barn in 1994. And it looks and works just as well today as it did when the barn doors opened 27 years ago! The facility was designed to take advantage of prevailing winds to optimize ventilation, along with the cupola, large doors at either end of the barn, and a wood scissor truss system. Other features include a horse washing area at the rear of the barn, an exercise ring, and paddock.
