Pump Station #22

POMPANO BEACH, FLORIDA

CPZ Architects worked with Chen Moore and Associates to design a new 3,800-square foot master pump station with an open courtyard to serve the majority of the City’s barrier island. The building’s stucco and metal roofing conform with the new Pompano Beach Beautification Redevelopment Plan. The scope included:

• Masonry structure on piles
• Corrosive-resistant interior finishes
• Electrical and generator rooms
• Restroom with shower
• Exterior emergency wash station
• Interior gantry crane for pump removal
• Roll-up door for service access
• Chimney to conceal intake and exhaust flues
• Decorative sliding security gate at courtyard entrance
