CPZ Architects designed a new church for the First Baptist Church of Okeechobee. The main structural frame for the 9,000 sf building was fabricated and installed by a pre-engineered metal building company (PEMB). This structural frame enabled the nave to be completely open with no columns. There is seating for over 1,000 parishioners with rooms for nursery and separate prayer room for children. The parishioners will benefit from a full commercial kitchen as the community holds social events. The exterior of the building was designed with reinforced masonry walls and stucco finish.
