Lakeside Park

Coconut Creek, Florida The Lakeside Park project in Coconut Creek, Florida involved the renovation of an 4existing parcel as well as the redevelopment of a new adjacent parcel of land totaling approximately 589,633 SF. The extensive park upgrades included a new 2300 SF outdoor amphitheater, 900 SF restroom building, (2) 40’ x 50’ basketball courts, (1) 30’ x 60’ beach volleyball court, (1) multi-purpose athletic field (approximately 195’x330’), outdoor pavilion and gaming area. Upgrades also included outdoor fitness equipment area, parking lot for approximately 50 vehicles, an 8’ wide pedestrian walkway, drinking fountains, park benches, bicycle racks, trash cans, fencing enclosing entire park (including existing and new parcel), as well as a food truck staging area....

McTyre Park Amphitheater

West Park, Florida The City of West Park retained CPZ Architects to design a new public amphitheater in West Park. The amphitheater is the first phase of the new McTyre Park Cultural Center. The public facilities will feature concentric concrete aisles with artificial turf seating for the audience, and behind the scenes are dressing rooms and other support areas. Shirley Branca Park Amphitheater

MIRAMAR, FLORIDA The City of Miramar retained CPZ Architects to design and develop construction documents for the renovation of Shirley Branca Park. The project included designing a 928-square foot restroom building, a 2100-square foot band shell, and a splash pad. The band shell and splash pad were accommodated within the existing park contours, and paths and dense vegetation provided tiered lawn seating for the audiences. A mid-century and Mediterranean design is consistent with Miramar’s existing facilities and the south Florida aesthetic. Miami Gardens, Florida The City of Miami Gardens retained CPZ Architects to design a 500-seat amphitheater at the Miami Gardens Community Center. Three hundred seats are provided on concrete retaining walls, with an additional 200 lawn seats. The facility includes a stage, dressing rooms, restrooms, and storage. Miramar Community & Cultural Amphitheater

Miramar, Florida CPZ Architects provided architectural design services for a new cultural amphitheater complex at the Miramar Regional Park. The complex includes a 8,565 square foot facility with 4,000-seat amphitheater (1,500 non-permanent seats, lawn seating with a capacity of 2,500), canopy, stage, dressing rooms, storage rooms, electrical/data room, and restrooms. Additional site development included a centrally located ticket booth, concessions and restroom pavilion, memorial wall, food truck and vendors area, and pedestrian pathways.
