Greter Perez

Office Manager

With a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Greter’s long term goals are to earn a master’s degree in Human Resources and her bookkeeping certification. Her keen attention to detail and her thoroughness gives her a unique ability to thrive in her career. Over the course of her time working in the architecture industry, Greter’s advice to the up-and-coming architects is to find a mentor, ask questions, observe, and dig in. We learn from others, and we learn by doing. Having a mentor to guide us, and enlighten us makes what we strive for easier and more enjoyable.

“There is only one way to eat an elephant: one bite at a time.” Greter Perez heard this quote from an individual who has impacted her life. The meaning of this quote, which is that everything in life that seems daunting, overwhelming or even impossible can be accomplished by gradually taking on just a little bit at a time, is something that helps guide her throughout her career.

Working in the architectural industry since 2021, Greter finds her inspiration from her brothers. One brother, who had two deployments to Iraq and came back safely, has faced all strife head on and was able to become a professional, family man and continues to pursue all his goals. Her other brother is a great inspiration for his perseverance. Having had to have 2 brain surgeries and re-learn how to do the basics, he never gave up and was able to not only rehabilitate successfully, but he is now in college, living life and becoming the best version of himself. Greter uses the attributes she sees in her brothers and applies them in her daily life.
