CPZ Architects, Inc. is a full service Architectural Firm, providing all the general architectural services from site planning thru design and construction administration.
Our facilities, technology capabilities and resources are as follows:
- We own our own 4,000 square foot office in Plantation. Florida.
- Our office is fully equipped with computers, servers and remote connection availability. This allows all of our staff to work remotely if possible. Our systems have redundant backup systems that secures all of our data files.
- CPZ maintains a full print shop. This allows us to print multiple sets of drawings and large volumes with hours of your request, even overnight so they are available in the morning.
- The use of industry standard software, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and REVIT, assure us of compatibility with almost all other offices and agencies. We maintain all project information in an electronic format to allow for use to email almost all information to our client easily and quickly.
- The use of in-house large format scanners provides the ability to archive old City Plans to an electronic PDF format, which in turn allows for the re-use of these documents for current projects.
- Our web site and FTP Site allows for large size files to be up loaded and then downloaded by all project team members though a secure access point.
- We can host a “City” user access to our website and post all of your projects and project documents on this site to allow easy access. We have provided this service to the Town of Davie for the last 8 years. We have over 5 projects available to them at any time. This allows their service personnel to access the plans and review A/C or Electrical information while at the building.
- Our resources are wide spread, our Firm Principal grew up in Fort Lauderdale and has worked here for almost 30 years. We have established relationships with many consultants from Acoustics Experts to Waterproof Experts to Code Experts. All of these resources are available to use at a moment’s notice to assist in any of your design and construction needs.
CPZ Architects is a small firm where the Firm Principal and Owner is involved and overseas all projects. It is this ownership and reputation that is important and assures that our projects are done to a high standard. The day to day activities of the projects are handled by the Project Manager. A project manager is also assigned to each “Client” and not just to a project. This establishes a relationship with our clients and over time helps assist our clients with a genuine understanding of their needs. You will have the same Project Manager from the start of a project through the end of construction, also providing the continuity required for the successful completion.
