The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is the component within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security responsible for Managing, securing, and controlling the nation’s borders by enforcing federal laws pertaining to the entry of people and objects, both animate and inanimate, into the United States. CPZ Architects was hired to design a new CBP facility at the regional airport in Vero Beach. This is a high security project, approximately 4,500 sf and consists of CBP office, pre-processing and processing areas including security interview rooms and hold rooms.
