Northgate Park Development

Northgate Park Development

Lauderdale Lakes is the center of Broward County, and the Town Center is a hub and serves as a multi-modal transit station. Northgate Park is a vital link for the Town Center. The entry of the park blends with the Town Center’s urban aesthetic, with interlocking pavers for the front sidewalks and cul-de-sac to create a gateway and sense of place. Contrasting concrete patterns radiate from the center of the cul-de-sac for wayfinding to different park amenities. The walkways are designed to accommodate arts festivals and other community events. The park also includes:

  • Basketball court
  • Open playing field
  • Covered playground
  • Picnic pavilion
  • Special events pavilion with restrooms
  • Half-mile running course and exercise trail

We designed the site plan and building to promote views through the building to the exterior park areas and beyond.
