Buddhist Temple of Florida

Okeechobee, Florida CPZ Architects has been chosen to design a new Buddhist Temple for the Wat Nitadsasanakhun monks of Okeechobee County, Fl. The project is to be split into two buildings. The +/- 5000 SF Temple and a separate +/- 900 SF adjacent restroom and kitchen facility. The temple (meeting hall) is to be used as a place for worship and meditation for the monks as well as a home to the east orientated Buddhist statue, known as a “Buddha”. 1st Baptist Church

Okeechobee, Florida CPZ Architects designed a new church for the First Baptist Church of Okeechobee. The main structural frame for the 9,000 sf building was fabricated and installed by a pre-engineered metal building company (PEMB). This structural frame enabled the nave to be completely open with no columns. There is seating for over 1,000 parishioners with rooms for nursery and separate prayer room for children.
