Kate joined CPZ in April 2012. She has collaborated with project teams to develop schematic designs, design development documents, and construction documents on a number of CPZ Architects’ most significant projects. Her work includes extensive building and ADA code research. She works with owners to establish design needs, and meets with building officials. In addition to her construction document experience, Kate is responsible for developing our firm’s presentation materials, as well as developing computer models and renderings.
Kate’s project experience includes new construction as well as tenant interior improvements and building upgrades. She has also worked on projects such as office and public safety buildings, recreational complexes, commercial facilities, community centers, Amphitheaters, and educational buildings. She collaborates with consultants to maintain the office library with the latest construction materials, interior finishes, light fixtures, furniture and many more.
Kate received her Bachelor of Architecture from Florida Atlantic University. During this time she received numerous awards such as: AIA Silver Metal Honor Student, Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society, and University Scholarship Award. Kate is originally from Venezuela, South America. She is fluent in Spanish & English. She enjoys outdoor sports, dancing and traveling.
