CPZ Architects, Inc. has been providing architectural design and expertize to many Cities in Florida for their Parks and Recreation Departments. Below are a few examples of our work.
In Miami Gardens, we were asked to take over and complete the Betty Ferguson Community Center. After working with the City through the many issues that had arisen, we were able to complete the project on time and the City then asked us to design their new amphitheater and create a perimeter fence for the property.
In the Town of Davie, CPZ has worked on several Park projects including Potter Park Gym & Community Center, Van Kirk Uplands Park, Sunny Lakes Park and we are now in negotiations with the Town to complete further renovation to both Van Kirk and Sunny Lakes Park.
In Hollywood, we provided designs for the community center at Beverley Park and Washington Park.
In Miramar we designed and provided full architectural/engineering services for a Bandshell Amphitheater at Shirley Branca Park and another amphitheater in their large Regional Park.
With regards to natural sites, CPZ Architects has designed an observation deck at the Town of Davie Sunny Lakes Bird Sanctuary and we completely renovated the Boy Scout Camp after damage from Hurricane Wilma.
We are currently preparing drawings for Doral Glades Park that involves wetlands and we will be using the same Environmental and Wetlands firm, Miller Legg for your projects.
Chris P. Zimmerman was part of the Team for the renovations of the International Swimming Hall of Fame adding a new training pool and expanding the diving tower. Mr. Zimmerman was also instrumental in designing the $5 million Las Olas Marina Facility in Ft. Lauderdale.
We also designed a new waterpark for the Hyatt Coconut Point Hotel in Bonita Springs. For this project we are subcontract to EDSA. CPZ Architects, Inc. is well versed in all the amenities for parks, whether it be Community Centers, restrooms, sports fields or water features.
